The large, heavy molecules of the base notes come through finally and evaporate slowly over 4 – 6 hours.

Le Labo in French means “the laboratory” which is quite fitting for the aesthetics of the store. It has a beautiful, industrial look and feel to it. The perfumes all have names based on their primary scent note, and then given a number based on the total number of ingredients.
Le Labo’s Rose 31 has an astonishing 31 high-quality ingredients. Rose 31 features rose petals plucked by hand in Grasse, France. It has top notes of rose and cumin, middle notes of rose, vetiver and cedar and base notes of musk, guaiac wood, oud, olibanum and labdanum . It is deeply woodsy, with some soft spice and earthy undertones.
My Experience Using Le Labo Rose 31
I received this perfume as a gift from my children for Christmas and I am delighted! There are many scents that don’t translate well in different climates, especially in hot, humid, tropical climates. However, Le Labo’s Rose 31 is truly a sensational scent. It is fresh, floral and uplifting, feeling very clean on the skin. You cannot stop yourself from smelling your wrist every minute of the day. It makes you want to slowly sneak up next to the person wearing it; so that you can fill your nose and lungs with the most beautiful light and clean rose fragrance. Bonus, the scent is very long lasting throughout the day.
If you have a Le Labo store near you, I urge you to try this for yourself and you will most certainly fall in-love with this scent as I did.
